reduce, reuse, recycle

I was changing a sticker roll at work the other day and was looking at the empty roll like, I KNOW there's something I can use this for, so I put it on my wrist so I'd remember to take it home at the end of my shift. (Later I wrote the time on it like a digital clock and showed my supervisor and told him it was time to go home and he told me to get out. Ha!)

While I was waiting to get off of work a light bulb went off, binding storage. I have very little space to store all my sewing goodies and figured I could wrap my binding around the roll and then hang it on a nail in the wall until I was ready to use it. Smart right? And I think it keeps it from getting any kind of wrinkles in the fabric, not that that really matters after it gets sewn on. But hey, whatever.

fabric for binding is Lucy's Crab Shack by Sweetwater for Moda, ain't it purdy.

Aha! Great binding storage. I think you could disassemble a hanger and hang several sticker rolls of binding on one hanger for even greater storage!

Also: I just noticed we use the same font for our taglines! It was NOT an easy choice for me. See? http://sewingbymoonlight.com/2012/04/fontastic-font-audition-call-backs/
